Riot ID and the Carde.io transition /

Riot’s September 4 announcement set September 14 for the move of event sign-ups to PlayRiftbound.com, starting with Radiance Pre-Rift registration. Sign-in uses a Riot ID without the old Carde.io account-linking step. Riot’s announcement

Riot’s instructions are to sign in, find a store event and register, then use your phone at the event to check pairings and report results.

Radiance Pre-Rift events are scheduled for October 16–22, ahead of the October 23 release. Radiance schedule

Registering for an event

Use the registration link on your organizer’s listing. Have your Riot ID ready and confirm the store, date and check-in time.

Events still using Carde.io

Riot’s August plan kept third-party Showdown Series events on Carde.io through the rest of 2026. Organized-play update

Follow the organizer’s link for an existing booking or Showdown event. The September announcement does not replace the earlier Showdown instructions.
