  Deploy

  Play this only to a battlefield. When an opponent holds here, kill this.

  Deploy gear goes onto a battlefield instead of your base, even one you don't control, and stays there until an opponent holds that battlefield.

  Show Off

  As you play this, you may reveal a different card from your hand or pick a friendly card that's already on the board. That card must meet a specific condition to unlock bonus effects.

  Each Show Off card prints its own condition, such as a unit or a minimum cost. A card you reveal from your hand stays there, but your opponent has seen it. Picking a card already in play gives nothing away.

  Disarm

  When I attack, give an enemy unit here -1 Might this turn.

  A number raises the penalty: Disarm 2 gives -2 Might. Riot calls it "a little like Assault," which gives your own attacker extra Might; Disarm takes Might from an enemy instead.

What’s new in Radiance /

• Summoner Skirmish prizes

  Riot named the Radiance Skirmish prizes on October 5. In the first window, from November 9, every player gets a Graves, Blasting Through promo and the Top 8 and the champion get Akali, Brash promos. The second, from December 14, gives Lulu, Whimsical to every player and Ahri, Confident to the Top 8 and the champion. Both champions also get a Skirmish playmat.

• Riven has two champion units

  On October 5, G2 Broken Blade revealed Riven, Broken Blade (RAD 043/167), a Calm champion unit that costs 4 energy, plus an alternate-art RAD 043a printing. On October 6, Robinsongz revealed Riven, Deserter (RAD 114/167), a Chaos champion unit that costs 5 energy and 1 Chaos power, with an alternate-art RAD 114a. Her signature gear, Blade of the Exile, was revealed on September 28. Riot hasn't shown her Legend card yet.

• Signed Legend overnumbers

  Every Radiance Legend overnumber also comes in a signed printing, with the artist's signature on the card and an asterisk after its number. Four have been shown: Ekko (RAD 168*), Ziggs (169*), Mordekaiser (170*) and Orianna (171*).

• The Ultimate Rare is Packed Amphitheater

  Riot revealed Radiance's Ultimate Rare on October 2: Packed Amphitheater, a battlefield, in a RAD 184/167 printing with art by Fish Art Studio. Its regular printing is RAD 164/167. Champion units there have +1 Might.

• Evelynn's Legend is Agony's Embrace

  Evelynn, Agony's Embrace, a Body and Chaos Legend, is RAD 153/167 with art by Envar Studio. Riot's October 1 reveals video showed it first, in its overnumbered RAD 175/167 printing by Suzaki.

• Mordekaiser is the ninth Legend

  IGN revealed Mordekaiser, Iron Revenant, a Fury and Order Legend, on October 1, along with its overnumbered RAD 170 and signed RAD 170* printings by Taylor Jansen. That names all nine Radiance Legends.

• HEARTSTEEL overnumbers

  K'Sante, Courageous (RAD 178) and new printings of Aphelios, Exalted; Ezreal, Dashing; Yone, Blademaster; Kayn, Unleashed; and Sett, Kingpin (RAD 179 to 183) come in HEARTSTEEL art. Riot says each also has a signature version. The rules text is unchanged.

• K/DA Special cards

  All five Radiance Special cards use K/DA art: Ahri, Confident (SP1); Akali, Brash (SP2); Evelynn, In Control (SP3); Kai'Sa, Rebel (SP4); and Seraphine, Not Alone (SP5). Riot says Special cards turn up about as often as Alt Art cards.

3. October 5Overview update

   Riot's overview added the Ultimate Rare, the alternate-art runes, the Summoner Skirmish prizes and Evelynn's Showdown Deck Legend. Drawing selection emails went out.

4. October 8NextRules updates

   Riot's roadmap lists Radiance rules updates.

5. October 16 to 22Pre-Rift events

   Prerelease events at local stores. Riot posts the Showdown Deck lists and Nexus Night promos on October 16.

6. October 23Release

   Radiance releases in English, French and Simplified Chinese.

7. November 9Summoner Skirmish

   The first Radiance Skirmish window. Every player gets a Graves promo, the Top 8 and the champion get Akali promos, and the champion gets a playmat.

8. December 14Summoner Skirmish
