- First rotation

- Legal by name

- Booster sets
- Riot says booster sets stay available, reprinted to meet demand, at least as long as they’re legal in Standard. August 2026 State of the Game ↗

When is Riftbound rotation?
Riot’s plan is for the first rotation at the start of 2028, when Set 10 releases. Sets 1 to 5 leave Standard: Origins, Spiritforged, Unleashed, Vendetta and Radiance.
How many sets are in Riftbound Standard?
Riot’s Tournament Rules define Standard as the most recent 5 to 8 sets: the current year’s sets plus the previous year’s.
Will Riftbound Origins be reprinted?
Riot reprinted Origins and Proving Grounds in 2026 and says those won’t be the last reprints of its early sets. Its policy is to keep booster sets available at least as long as they’re legal in Standard.
