WithTranspositionistAngler Wyrm

If Transpositionist’s ability targets an empowered Gangplank, Naval with 6 Might, can you play Angler Wyrm?

Yes. Gangplank’s return to hand is replaced with +3 Might this turn, so Transpositionist reads his current 9 Might and lets you play a unit with 9 Might or less.

Transpositionist returns a unit to hand and then references that unit’s information. If the unit didn’t change zones and was a legal target, the ability uses its current information.

WithSwitcheroo

What happens when an opponent plays Switcheroo on their 2 Might unit and your empowered Gangplank, Naval?

Gangplank replaces his Might being lowered with +3 Might this turn. The other unit still gets its increase.

The swap difference is calculated first. With a 6 Might Gangplank, the other unit goes from 2 to 6 Might and Gangplank goes from 6 to 9 Might. The same logic applies to Mel, Newly Awakened with Switcheroo.
